Default Smarty Jr.

What do y'all think of the Smarty Jr.? I know the S06 and SSR are the most popular, but the junior is where I'm at $ wise. Opinions?

Good programmer, but of I were you I'd start tossing change in the piggy bank and go for EFI Live...

If I had the supporting mods to go with it, that would be the plan... but on a stock set up, I'm not sure...

The beatiful thing about it is they can write a program to give you the safest max power with what you have, and down the rd any mods you add the programs can be rewriting for. I know it's a chunk of change but is truly the best of the best at this point

I wouldn't go over a 60hp tune on a stock truck...or your looking to say bye bye to the tranny.

The smartys are great tuners...I'm running one now. But I can't wait till the EFI live for my year truck...I'll be switching to that!

Ok... You may be right. Much over 60 may fry the tranny... my ride has 155k and change on the stock tranny. My idea is this: 1) buy Smarty Jr. 2) plug in as instructed in manual. 3) run the dog snot out of it till the tranny yells "uncle". 4) spring for a stage 4 billet trans from ATS. 5) ENJOY!!!

haha that will work to man!

BUT... I would caution you of getting a tranny from ATS. I'm heard nothing but bad things about their customer service. And there products not holding up to the standard. This is what I've read and heard man

If I was you I'd go Georend...nothing but good things about them. I'm running there triple disk with 0 problems!

You will need to do the EGR and DPF delete...then I've heard good things about the mini maxx tuner. Comes with the gauges to monitor everything and its shift on the fly
