I looked at the Toyo M/T's cause I had Open Country A/T's that I got 80K miles out of. Thats 80K miles probably 80% highway with a trailer on it, also plow'd with them, and little off road use which I consider OUTSTANDING wear for any tire, let alone 305/55/20 A/T's

Wanted something more agressive this time around, ended up going with the Nitto Trail Grappler M/T this time, very simlar to the Toyo M/T, but about 30% cheaper.....but I am second guessing myself after the first 5,000 miles seems like they are wearing quicker then I would like to see, but who knows, we will see how long they last!!! I hear good things about those nittos, mostly from 1/2 ton owners, not so much from guys like us hauling weight. MTs dont like constant hauling, really eats up those rears.

Yeah, that my problem. I got bit by the "gotta have something more aggresive" bug and went with the M/T's, and I am gunna pay for it!

Thought about trying to sell them recently and go back to A/Ts.......still might!

I have a trailer on atleast once throughout the day, not to mention the 900lb 8.5' Fisher V-plow when it snows in the winter, nothing like 900lbs hangin on the front of your truck to eat up the front tires!

The Nitto Trail Grapplers are very aggressive. I think these are the best looking tires on the market. 1450 out the door.
