I think it rides nice, better than my excursion ever rode anyways. Excursion similar wheelbase to regular cab long bed. My 02 ccsb rides decent, the longer wheelbase on my 06 cclb just seems a bit smoother to me, but there is also different front suspensions between the two so that may make a difference.

I think that updated front end on the newer fords made a huge difference to the ride, doesnt hurt as much lol

Guys and gals, I can say for certain that wheelbase is king. I drove a 379 Pete with a 310 inch w.b. pulling a reefer with 35k in the box, it rode like a cloud... The 600 cat and 18 speed tranny helped too...
