Rattling Sound
 

Ok when i first crank my truck and start movin it makes a rattling sound almost directly under my feet ...... also when im goin down the road and get in it and it downshifts it does it until i let out of it .... its hard to describe the sound i wish i cud a video .... it gets on my nerves so bad! I thought it might have been a loose heat sheild but i checked them all and there tight .... could it be the cat? but its not under my feet its more like under the backseat floorboard .

Has your exhaust tone changed? Has the smell changed? Crawl under it and tap it with a small hammer and listen for rattles. My 96 gas burner did the same thing when the cat broke loose inside the canister. Luckily, dodge fixed it under the emissions warranty. Otherwise, it would've been gone...

Smell and sound hasnt changed since i bought it few months ago , heres a video , u can hear the cat kinda rattle , it gets better at the end

Is the exhaust rubbing on anything? I know on mine it cut pretty close to some stuff before I put the 4 in on. Bunt mines a little different.

no its not rubbing anything , its clear of everything ....... Abe is wantin to do a cat and muffler delete with a straight 3" pipe on it . what yall think?
