Muddy redneck by day, rockstar drummer by night.

Ha no your doing it all right... being married and deployed for a year hardly works. And thanks.

And right now I'm Custom Protections Officer (armed renta cop) for them

Jarma36 03-15-2012 12:05 AM

ahh looking to upgrade to the real thing eh, military wasnt doing it for ya?

schroederMP 03-15-2012 12:08 AM

Yea...its my dream job.

I did the military thing to help with my police career. Makes my resume look better with Military back ground and a combat tour

Jarma36 03-15-2012 12:11 AM

Ya that makes sense, you do any criminology or criminal justice schooling? My ex took criminal justice in college and apperently that really helps you to get into the force.

schroederMP 03-15-2012 12:12 AM

I'm a semester away from completing an assc in Criminal Justice...I'm doing it all lol

Jarma36 03-15-2012 12:12 AM

Atta boy, that's how ya get ahead. I cant wait to go to school in the fall

schroederMP 03-15-2012 12:13 AM

What you going for?

Jarma36 03-15-2012 12:17 AM

Heavy diesel equipment and agricultural equipment tech, its a one year program which at the end i can write the tests for the first two years of both trades and work towards getting a dual ticket. Im sick of having to work rigs to make good coin, time for a real career.

schroederMP 03-15-2012 12:18 AM

Good for you man. That would be a fun job

Jarma36 03-15-2012 12:19 AM

Ya endless opportunities up here too

bng305 03-15-2012 01:02 AM

I'm Blake. Currently in college for civil engineering, did three semesters of mechanical engineering at VCU and figured out it wasn't for me so I'm trying something that will get me outside some. I have been a volunteer firefighter for almost 5 years as well. I'll do just about anything to make money but enjoy cutting and splitting firewood the most.

Bigbluediesel08 03-15-2012 01:02 AM

My name Jorge(George).. I work in an armored truck company.. Aiming on getting my cdl. Love big rigs and almost all my family drive 18 wheelers. Hope to get it in a couple of months.

Good plan, you lookin to drive long haul?

Bigbluediesel08 03-15-2012 01:17 AM

Yes sir.. My brother in law has his own trucking company, said he is willing to give me a hand.

Bdons-SD 03-15-2012 01:18 AM

Long haul has always appealed to me! Id love to get out of the rain and into a big rig

Jarma36 03-15-2012 01:23 AM

It would be fun being out on the open road....for a while at least.

Bigbluediesel08 03-15-2012 01:28 AM

It would be fun, but if after a while I get tired, I can get a job here local. Truck drivers are in high demand here.

Jarma36 03-15-2012 01:31 AM

Ya same up here, oneyou get that licence there is no shortage of work, especially if you own your own rig.

Hey guys! I am Josh, 31 years old, self employed in construction, small family business my dad started 35 years ago and now I run it. We do lots of roofing, windows, doors, build garages, additions, and some kitchen/bath remodels. I also do Vortex Spray in Bedliners and Protective Coatings as a side business.

I would REALLY like to get into trucking/hauling. Not OTR but hauling vehicles, equipment and stuff like that locally or within the state, its a work in progess!!

Been married for 8 1/2 years and have a 4 month old daughter.

Been a Ford guy my whole life, but I am not a hater of other makes, I respect them all, just prefer my Fords.

Looking forward to getting to know everybody!

Bdons-SD 03-15-2012 12:19 PM
