yup and that is why I am not even going to push mine past stock gear. All I want is a decently quick stock DD and I will buy me a toy to make fast on a poor mans budget.

You went with a batmo to help spooling? I heard the 472's are kinda slow, but the batmo should help! Only problem is no more VVT but Still gonna run like a rapped ape.

Good for you man. I can't wait to upgrade my trubo, and get studs and rods. Youve gotta be close to 600hp with that setup, just gonna need more fuel now and you could see 750hp=)

Yeah I decided to get the batmo for spooling. Its incredibly drivable.. Like I thought it was going to lag a good bit but I can DD it no problems. Leaving it on my #4 tune ~550hp for driving everyday. I do want to save my rods, but I plan on enjoying the 600+ hp. If I ever get some rods I will throw some more fuel in there. It is plenty fast for now.

I would be weary of DD'in 600 on stock rods with an LLY or did you have a full build done Dave?

Nope stock bottom end.. Only internal work on mine is head studs.

I used to rock a full MX built honda 250r. Was a mix match of all 4 years put into one quad.. Long travels, bore kit... Damn that son of a b1tch was fast. Must be where my love for big single turbos comes from. Feels just like that old powerband did :biggun:

01 D_Max 03-19-2012 08:18 PM

250r's are the sickest racing quads ever made! Well banchee is sick too, but my friend hada 250 r that went 85mph. He was crazy good at wheelies, and rode through all gears at 60 mph. But that thing would throw an grown man off the back like a frickn bull.

What are the plans for the truck? Pulls?or Dragstrip? Have you gotten a slip yet... before mods? I would love to know your times!

HDdave 03-19-2012 09:32 PM

Yeah nothin handles like that 250r did. Still miss that thing! As for mine... Mainly just a daily driver. Gonna get a few passes now with the new turbo, hoping for low 12's. Hoping for a full pull when I hook her to the sled. I think thats gonna be what I enjoy more. Plus running on dirt is easier on your all your parts inside than hitting the track is.

That's some good numbers...can't wait to see the dyno results....
