Looking good! I don't know what I would do if my truck was gone for that long!! Bet ya can't wait to get back in it!

Bigbluediesel08 12-08-2012 07:06 AM

Well, I haven't gotten my freakn truck back... Little "issues" have been appearing. Almost 7 months without my truck and I'm starting to lose patience.. I really need it, but I know that **** happens.

06VT365 12-08-2012 03:19 PM

When I saw you posted today I was hoping it was going to be that you got it back and were loving it!

I would've lost it a loooooong time ago! I would start billing them for the time they have had it. With the amount of trucks they work on, they should be able to fix issues fairly quickly I would think. Unless it's a totally new custom build that requires lots of fab work there is no reason IMO for a shop to have a vehicle for that long of period.

Hope they make it right with ya in the end! Good luck and hope you get it back before x-mas!

Nothing custom about it. I think the only complicated part was the fuel bowl delete.
Really do hope I get it before Christmas. Loosing my patience.

Thats what I thought. I was thinking it was mostly common aftermarket parts. I would think that they would be doing everything they could and working on it like crazy to get it back to ya and outta the shop.

Best wishes to ya on getting back in the drivers seat!

keep us posted!

Damn man that sucks

Bigbluediesel08 01-03-2013 02:18 AM

Well, I finally have my truck back, but it throwing a code for turbo/supercharger sensor a I believe. I know it's related to the back pressure sensor. Orderd one already.. Is the tube necessary for the sensor to function properly?? You can see in the above pic where they tapped into to relocate it.

UTAHFORD 01-04-2013 10:44 PM

do you need a boost fooler???? I have heard on my truck anything over 25 psi it brings up a code

Agjake11 01-04-2013 11:46 PM

No boost fooler. Over 25 psi is normal with 6.0 and newer
