Real mileage test
Went on a road trip to a funeral for my great-aunt in Kentucky. Put in 19 gallons before I left ($75 @ the pilot). Put 434 miles on it before I put in the same amount in Dickson. 22.79 MPG average. And yes, it was hand calculated. The lie-o-meter said 20.1 ...:favorites37:

Sorry for your loss!
But thats awesome man...I should be seeing those numbers once I get a tank of summer blend in. I'm only seeing 17.5 right now hand calced! You running an 2 stroke or additives? |
Thats great! I never get better than 18 unloaded on the higway, but thats just typical powerstroke fuel economy. My 02 7.3 has done 19.8 once but it was all 55mphm 2 lane roads, it was a fluke I cinsider since I very rarely drive 55!!!

Thats awesome. I can get that fairly easy believe it or not. :peace:

Condolences tdrive0001.
I feel better about my last MPG run, drug an empty heavy duty 16ft landscaping trailer to Oxford, GA loaded it full with bus seats and went to I-285 Atlanta to pickup 80 pair of roller skates and back to Ringgold, GA 321 miles round trip. Averaged 22.7 mpg. |
