trany problem
I just bought a 04 dodge 2500 hemi with 103k. And got exhaust put on it yesterday and went to see if it could spin um. Well it wouldn't go wouldn't go then for some reason it reved up too about 4500 rpms and after that from a stop it would go to 1700 rpms down to 1200 then I'd start to move around 1500 rpms. And it'd also have. Stall once I'm rolling and would let off to like go into the shed.
Any ideas???? |
Sounds lime converter or valve body...
|
Are those a pretty cheap and easy fix?
|
Not cheap semi easy....Valvebody can be replaced by just dropping the pan, to replace the torque convertor your going to have to pull the trans...Truthfully if it were me I'd go ahead and run thru the trans and make sure your clutches and steels are still in good shape. Rather do it while it was out, then have to pull it in another couple months if something happens...

Ok and im going to have my dealer do the work and probably well have then run through it just to check things over
|
It has the po700 code which is trans control sys malfunction
