Duramax... New turbo
1 Attachment(s)
Well guys I am picking my truck up tomorrow! She had the cursed LLY head gaskets blow so I decided to get ARP studs, .45 over sticks, and a batmo S472 while it was down. 2 months in the works and this is the sneek peak I got. I have been beating my head off the wall hoping to get this setup built... Hope y'all like it!!! GIANT thanks goes out to Blackout Performance. None of this would have been possible without Caleb!

Look great! For a second there I thought I was in a 6.0 forum, reading about head gaskets and all...:whymewhyme:
I have similar thinking....while it's down, might as well replace it all at once! Been 3 months saving for mine, hope to tear into in a month or so. I really like your piping, looks great. Should be beast when you get it back!:favorites37: |
Man that looks awesome. I bet you'll be putting down some power to the pavement. Any ideas on how much?
|
Holy big hair dryer batman!
|
:jester: that guy in your avatar needs one :jester:

That ought to have a fine whine.

You went with a batmo to help spooling? I heard the 472's are kinda slow, but the batmo should help! Only problem is no more VVT but Still gonna run like a rapped ape.
Good for you man. I can't wait to upgrade my trubo, and get studs and rods. Youve gotta be close to 600hp with that setup, just gonna need more fuel now and you could see 750hp=) |
^ Will never see 750 on stock bottom end with an LLY, the rods will sh1t the bed before that.
I would be weary of DD'in 600 on stock rods with an LLY or did you have a full build done Dave? |
very nice! piping looks awesome
